Primarily I have switched from 1stage dialling to 2 stage dialling.

Immediate support required is in opitmumly configuring the gateways for 2 stage dialling.

If i am using and dialling using Xlite using the 2 stage dialling method thru the PSTN gateway GXW4108 I am able to dial , hear call progress tones and succesfully place calls too.,

If I am using GXW4008 and dialling out using the 2 stage dialling method I get to hear the dial tone on pressing 0#.

on attempting to dial out the number after i get the PSTN dial tone , there is allways a failure.
1) sometime I get busy tone
2) sometimes i get connected to wrong numbers.

summary: the tones are never interpreted by the server / gateway correctly

3CX log generates an error saying:

Could be two things:

Codecs is not in sync, check for me that you have the correct codecs installed.

DTMF is to fast, and the gateway gets confusted. you can adjust this via your digital map. It is advisable with two stage dialing tha tyou have an end character commonly used is "#" which you should use when you complete the number.

When you get an engage tone, might be when the gateway is trying to dial out on the incomming line (the one you used to dial in) and it runs out of resources.

Wrong number hints towards wrong DTMF tones, or to fast.

See how you go.
