I am having problem with outbound call. Can call from outside but when doing outbound call it gives busy or disconnected type tone.

    Any solutions?

    Thanks

I can see from your logs that your Patton is not correctly configured. You must use the configuration generated by our software to avoid any configuration problems.

if you have a licensed version with support please contact our support department and i am sure this can be solved quickly.

    Hi Nick
    Thanks for the reply

It is indeed the script generated from 3CX latest software after selecting Patton SN-4960 single port ISDN E1. However the script generated by 3CX missed one line for SIP Interface configuration. It did not route the SIP call to ISDN interface for outbound call. I have added this line and it works:-

    route call dest-interface IF_ISDN_0

This line is missing in the original 3CX sript.

    Thanks

    Hi Thomas,

Thanks for this info. I will check our script, though it could be that you have a different firmware on your device. Off the top of my head the scripts are for firmware 4.2...

    Thanks Nick

While you are looking at this ticket, can you tell me something about ringtone issue.

If I call from external phone using Polycom handset or any VoIP phone it gives ring tone. But if I use my mobile phone or any other non VoIP phone I will not get ringtone but if the phone is answer then you can do the conversation.

Is it to do with 3CX or Patton gateway?

    Thomas
