3cx assistant lost connection

    Help, our 3cx assistant keeps loosing the connection with the host computer so we dont have the pop up window when a call comes in, we cant use the F11 button. This is happening numerous times during the day. we connect via a tunnel and we know that its not the line because my colleague in a completely different office has the same problems and the only thing that links us both is the 3cx host computer.

    It sounds like your firewall may be dropping the connection after so long.

    Go to File > Preferences in the assistant. On the advanced tab check the Force Refresh Every: minutes box and set a suitable time. Try 15 minutes at first then extend it if it works until you get something useful and doesnt time out.
