3CX Assistant on website shows wrong version

    The website download section of the 3CX site shows latest assistant build is 8.0.10824 but actual download is for 8.0.9924. Also the latest download of the assistant on the site does not work with server v8.0.9908.

    Can 3CX please clarify which version of the assistant we're downloading because it says 8.0.9924 but it does not appear to be. And please clarify which version of 3CX server is required for each assistant release, I'm sick and tired of playing roulette each time you update something whether it's compatible with my 3CX install or not.

    This is the version you will download eventually.

    Yes you need at least version 8.0.10116 of the pbx - this is because of changes we made in the assistant server and client.

    Then there is a forum post which will enable you to download a later version of the PhoneSystem and Ca.

    If you don't want to play roulette check the change logs before you update - this is why we post them. Just like an administrator would do before deploying firmwares, windows updates etc etc. Yes it can be frustrating to have products version Dependant and we are working hard on this.

    We are uploading a version of the pbx to the official website which is already available from here:
    http: //www.3cx.com/downloads/3CXPhoneSystem8_8.0.10824.exe - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

    And install this version of the CA
    http: //www.3cx.com/downloads/3CXAssistantSetup80_10828.exe - NO LONGER AVAILABLE

    After this we will release an update of the Call assistant so with this version you do not need to stay uninstalling/installing neither the PBX nor the Call assistant.
