Good Day,

We are evaluating 3cx for our own use and potentially to distribute in the Caribbean. We have all the internal stuff working fine, but are having issues with VOIP Provider support. We currenly use conventional telecoms from Cable and Wireless and our limited VOIP knowledge may have something to do with it. We are testing Callcentric and Xeloq. Both VOIP providers show as registering fine and pass on firewall tests, and CallCentric incoming calls are working fine. When trying to make outgoing calls via either (have created two routes, one with a 9-prefix (CallCentric) and the other an 8-prefix (Xeloq) we are getting back errors. The errors are detailed below:

Xeloq:

13:38:19.406 Call::Terminate [CM503008]: Call(13): Call is terminated
13:38:19.375 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(13): Attempt to reach [sip:[email protected]:5060] failed. Reason: Reason Unknown
13:38:19.375 CallLeg::eek:nFailure [CM503003]: Call(13): Call to sip:[email protected]:5060 has failed; Cause: 407 Proxy Authentication Required; from IP:81.26.212.150:5060
13:38:18.718 CallCtrl::eek:nSelectRouteReq [CM503004]: Call(13): Calling: VoIPline:10000@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060]
13:38:18.703 CallCtrl::eek:nIncomingCall [CM503001]: Call(13): Incoming call from Ext.100 to [sip:[email protected]:5060]

CallCentric:

13:38:11.312 Call::Terminate [CM503008]: Call(12): Call is terminated
13:38:11.281 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(12): Attempt to reach [sip:[email protected]:5060] failed. Reason: Forbidden
13:38:11.281 CallLeg::eek:nFailure [CM503003]: Call(12): Call to sip:[email protected]:5060 has failed; Cause: 403 User does not exist; from IP:204.11.192.23:5080
13:38:11.031 CallCtrl::eek:nSelectRouteReq [CM503004]: Call(12): Calling: VoIPline:10001@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060]
13:38:11.000 CallCtrl::eek:nIncomingCall [CM503001]: Call(12): Incoming call from Ext.100 to [sip:[email protected]:5060]

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Mike Martin

Matt,

Good question, and I should have mentioned that in my original post. I have tested and used successfully the softphone provided by Callcentric without issues on the same network (in fact on the same system currently hosting the 3cx software).

When the 3cx system registers the Callcentric trunk, all looks fine, and again, incoming is OK. Also the Callcentric site shows the "phone" as registered once the trunk is enabled within 3cx. I still get the error below though.

Thanks for your assistance.

Hello,

Just curious, if you use your voip provider with a softwarephone (ie=xlite) without 3cx, does it work correctly?

Matt

Change voip provider's UserAgent to something usual:
X-Lite release 1011s stamp 41150
Linksys/PAP2T-5.1.6(LS)
etc

Mike,

Did you get anywhere with the CallCentric configuration? I too am evaluating the 6.0 release and have configured a VOIP connection to CallCentric. The provider registers OK but when I try to make an outgoing call I get the same "403 User does not exist" error that you are getting. I have connected directly to CallCentric using X-Lite without a problem so it appears to be a 3CX issue.

Matt

We have tested with Callcentric - its a supported provider. So it must be a configuration issue. If you are a 3CX partner or a licensing user with support, open a support ticket for configuration help.

Hi - Both Providers are tested with 3CX. The problem is either 1) the number you are dialling 2) The account subscription you have or 3) the Provider not routing the call to the required destination.

Xeloq

Xeloq:

13:38:19.406 Call::Terminate [CM503008]: Call(13): Call is terminated
13:38:19.375 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(13): Attempt to reach [sip:[email protected]:5060] failed. Reason: Reason Unknown
13:38:19.375 CallLeg::eek:nFailure [CM503003]: Call(13): Call to sip:[email protected]:5060 has failed; Cause: 407 Proxy Authentication Required; from IP:81.26.212.150:5060
13:38:18.718 CallCtrl::eek:nSelectRouteReq [CM503004]: Call(13): Calling: VoIPline:10000@[Dev:sip:[email protected]:5060]
13:38:18.703 CallCtrl::eek:nIncomingCall [CM503001]: Call(13): Incoming call from Ext.100 to [sip:[email protected]:5060]

Notice that the response is reason Unknown. I tried to call that number in the invite from our test account and I have the same results. Now this could either be a wrong, busy or unregistered number or else Xeloq does not support calling to that particular destination. You will have to call then and check with them. For example - this is the 3CX number in the US 0018006870903. Try and call it and you will get the same message. This is because Xeloq do not support calls to toll free numbers 800.

Callcentric :

See the error message - User does not exist. Forbidden - You cannot call this number. A forbidden message is usually something that is wrong in the dial plan and not acceptable under your current account.

Question 2 - Are you dialling Japan 0081 and India 0091 ?? If no why is the number plan showing 813055551212 for Xeloq and 913055551212 for call centric?
Same numbers Different prefix show me that you are not stripping the outbound rule from the dial plan. Check the outbouond rule. The number should leave 3CX as follows :

In xeloq as it is not US it should leave as 0013055551212
Callcentric is US so it should leave 3CX as 13055551212 OR 3055551212. Try them both.
