3CX Licensing

    We are attempting to reinstall 3CX v12 on a new computer and I'm a bit confused about the response I'm getting from 3CX about the license.

    These are the dates from the Certificate Of Ownership from 3CX:

    04/22/2011 - Purchased 3CX Small Business Edition 8SC ("Upgrade Insurance Expires 1 year(s) from activation")
    04/12/2012 - Purchased 3CX Small Business Edition 8SC Upgrade Insurance ("Expires on 22 April 2013")
    04/17/2013 - Purchased 3CX Small Business Edition 8SC Upgrade Insurance ("Expires on 22 April 2014")

    I'm being told that we need to purchase the upgrade before I'm able to reinstall. We have been using v12 since it was released (September 2013 according to the official change log) and the backup we are trying to restore is v12.

    Is it correct then that we are not able to use the software if we choose not to renew the upgrade insurance?
