We have been using our 3CX system for months, running on a Windows 7 (SP1) 32 Bit, Intel 2 Duo P8400 2.26 GHz, with 3GB of memory on a ESXi Host. The 3CX MyPhone application has started to run slow. The "Call Mobile" can take anywhere from 2 seconds to 40 seconds to ring the phone. This has only just started happening. The PC is running find with no issues, memory usage, Hard Disk is all OK. The have re-booted several times both the Windows 7 and host hardware. Sometimes it resolves it sometimes it doesn't. What does appear to be the issue is PC's having more than one copy of 3CX open. As a test 2 PC's with one copy open worked fine. If one PC then opened 10 copies of 3CX MyPhone both PC's took takes to use the "Call Mobile Function". Is there a way of preventing users or PC's open more than one copy of 3CX...

Is there a way to limit a single PC from running more than one copy of MyPhone at a time? Not that I know of.

MyPhone uses Silverlight, which can be somewhat of a memory hog. If you had 10 copies open, then you are likely using 1GB RAM as each copy typlically needs ~100Mb. Of course, this depends on if you are running pure web based, have installed (or not) the desktop components, the size and activity of the phone system being monitored, etc. You did not mention if you are running Abyss or IIS and how many total users might make use of the MyPhone app.

A log of the situation may prove revealing as I find it somewhat unusual that only one aspect (call mobile) would be affected whereas the other call handling seems to be unaffected.
