3CX phone over VPN

    Hi,

    I am currently on a VPN with the office and we are trying to get 3CX to work properly.

    I can access all of the office networks and the internet is working fine but 3CX always stops on a yellow light and says registering. We have tried using the features. I.e. me calling the office, it rang but we couldnt hear anything and them calling me did not ring on my end.

    Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution?

    Tristan,

    Strange under VPN also have issue for VoIP. Please provide the console log.

    I would recommend X-Lite for a soft phone.

    Under VPN, please check the stun setup. If you found it had been enabled at softphone, please disable it.

    VPN

    I simply avoided the VPN and connected directly to the internet thru a router ( wireless accesspoint) for DHCP to a vendor preconfigured ATA.
    I have a seperate ADSL service at the PABX end. The ATAs were very cheap and supplied on no monthly fee services. The 3CX does the interconnecting between the remote ATAs and the PABX via a FXO
