3CX Phone System does not see a traffic from PCI modem

    Scenario: 3CX Phone System and PCI Modem are on same server.

    Specs:
    Windows Server 2003 R2
    3CX Phone System 6
    Lucent V.90 Data/Fax/Voice Modem (PCI)

    Issue: I cannot find and option to connect 3CX Phone System with PCI modem. All apps show incoming signal (i.e. Windows Fax, CallderID, etc.) and works fine, but not 3CX.

    Any ideas?

    A modem is not a SIP device and will not for for VoIP applications. You need to be using a VoIP Gateway if you wish to set-up a PSTN trunk into 3CX.
