Hi,
I connect two cisco 7970 via 3CX SBC to 3CX PBX. The phones are registering normally but when call each other there is no audio.
The logs of 3CX are these:
[Extn] failed to reach Extn:yyy, reason Not Acceptable HereReason Unknown
[Extn] is terminated: Cause: 400 Bad Request/INVITE from x.x.x.x:5080
What is the problem? :S

You haven't really provided a lot of information.

Can you call extensions that are not behind the SBC?

Can other types (makes) of sets behind the SBC call each other. You could test this with two laptops running the 3CX phone.
If that worked, then it could be an issue in sets settings, otherwise it might be something in the SBC, or at the firewall/router at the Server end.

Do you have other remote sites that work?

Have you tried changing the PBX Delivers Audio setting?

I can call extensions that are not behind the SBC.
I tried to enable PBX Delivers Audio but nothing changed.
What is the right way to connect an extension to 3CX via SBC?
Now i have a server which runs the 3CX SBC service. On my phone i have configured the IP of this server as PBX address. Is that right? For an example i have cisco 7970->SBC server->3CX PBX. On my phone i use only the IP address of SBC server on port 5060.

If you've followed these instructions

http://www.3cx.com/blog/voip-howto/install-configure-3cx-sbc/

...then there may be an issue with the local LAN set-up, or phone configuration.

Hello,

I made more test and i took the same results.
([Extn] failed to reach Extn:yyy, reason Not Acceptable HereReason Unknown
[Extn] is terminated: Cause: 400 Bad Request/INVITE from x.x.x.x:5080)

What is the problem? Have anyone test 3CX SBC with Cisco 79xx phone devices?

Which SBC are you using? Could this be related to your issue?

http://www.3cx.com/forums/raspberry-pi-sbc-lan-phone-to-lan-phone-traffic-not-local-40130.html

I had used the 3CX Proxy Manager for a short while, but not an SBC. Another member may have experience with a set-up similar to yours.

Hello,

I am using SBC for windows. With 3CX Proxy Manager are you achieve registration with cisco 79xx devices?

I have limited experience with the Cisco 7960 and 7961, but locally, not as a remote extension.

Did you auto provision the sets (using 3Cx version 12 I assume), or did you do any modifications to the provisioning files to allow the sets to work behind the SBC? I'm not sure what , if any, modifications would be necessary. I'm not sure how the server address information, is handled.

Hello,

I turned on the verbose logging on 3CX SBC and i see the error:

So, is it a bug on 3CX SBC service?

So, I have to assume you have the extension set to record conversations, is this correct? if it is then there may be something else to be considered, when recording from behind an SBC. I would assume that would entail routing audio through the PBX.

Hello,

I haven't conversation recording enabled. The record-route is used from sip proxies. See here: http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5658. ;)

Hello,

Can anyone from 3CX support team tell me if it is a bug at 3CX SBC or it is a configuration problem?
Thanks :)
