3CX services occasionally needs to be restarted

    Hi,

    Every week or two I need to restart all the services in order to be able to make calls.

    I can see from the activity log that 3CX attempts to make the call, but the call never gets in.

    Restarting the services helps, but it is really a pain. Does anyone have a clue?

    What version of 3CX,

    Have you excluded 3CX folders from anti virus programs

    C:\Program Files\3CX PhoneSystem\* 
    C:\ProgramData\3CX\*

    Hi Saqqare,

    V. 14 but the issue was also on v12.

    Yes I can excluded those folders.

    If the hardware is the same as when you were running the previous version, then that would be my first suspect, that, or some other programme running at the same time.

    You could try stopping all other unnecessary background programmes.

    Run a memory test programme, could be bad memory causing it to hang.

    Install again, on another PC/server, apply the back-up from current system, but only use the Demo licence. Let the system run and try some test calls, over a period of time. If it doesn't require a re-start to continue functioning, then consider moving the exiting system to a new PC/server unless you can narrow down what is causing the system to stop.
