Hi to all,
I was excited to meet 3cx and I installed it after reading all manuals and posts.
My console works fine when I am connected to my WiFi and my softphone app. registers when connected to my WiFi. I cannot make it work when I connect to another WiFi or through 3g.... I cannot find a solution, 3cx is not very helpful as they prompt me to a reseller here in Greece....
I have read that generally 3cx softphone is not very reliable, but I have tried to find settings and it really doesn't have enough. Meanwhile my DID and sip is also registered in gswave and works perfectly. So it has nothing to do with my sip provider.
I have also noted that the weblink of the console is not considered trusted by windows and it doesn't let me connect. I already had to uninstall everything once.
Do you have a hint on that?
What is the meaning of a call center if I cannot use it through mobile outside of the office?

Check your ports on your Firewall, they dont seem to be opened corerctly. You have seen this in the Admin Manual you have read..

Hello @Pit

As @jeb mentioned make sure that the firewall checker of the PBX passes all tests. Also make sure that under extension settings / Phone provisioning the 3CX client is using the tunnel.
You could check if the FQDN is pointing to the correct IP address.

Be sure that your FQDN resolves correctly to your public IP. Do this from a computer outside your local LAN. Check the 3CX Activity Log to see if there is a log, of a registration attempt, from the softphone.

Hello again.
I have talked to my provider who insists that all ports are open.
I have tried with port forward network utilities and port forwarding .net and I still cannot use this PBX.

Now I am trying to open 3CX management control to check all of the above that you mentioned and it is not possible from both chrome and firefox.
It keeps saying that "connection is not secure".
I have already uninstalled 3CX and installed it again.
How this thing is going to work anyway????? Couldn't make it easier somehow?

Hello @Pit

Did you install using a 3CX FQDN or a custom FQDN? To access the PBX from a remote location you need to use your FQDN and your https port. The url should look like: https:<Yourdomain>:5001

The only thing required for this to work is to install the PBX, send a welcome email and open the correct ports to your firewall.

Hi again.

I am trying to access 3CX console from my office where it is installed and my browser still denies to access https://username.3cx.gr:5001/ it keeps saying problem loading page as if it is blocked for security reasons. As if it is firewalled or something.
Last time I had to uninstall and do the installation again.

That means that either port 5001 is blocked or there is an issue with the certificate. Either way the client will not connect until the issue is resolved.

Yes and I think that it is the certificate as it does show any certificate. How do we fix this?

When you try to access the PBX using chrome and you get the warning press the F12 button and on the panel that will open on the left click on Security. Do you see any errors there?
Click on View certificate and make sure that the certificate is not expired and that the certificate is issued to the correct FQDN.
