3CX Softphone Client resets audio device to default

    Hello everyone.

    Our softphone clients are resetting their chosen audio device to the device setting at startup, therefore our agents are not able to hear incoming ring tones. We have to choose the relevant device to be used and restart the client. Then it is only a metter of time before the audio device is reset again. Has anyone experienced this before?

    Thanks for the response.

    Unfortunately that post refers to client configs. We are having problems with the selected audio device. No Similarity. :(

    If the audio device is not plugged in when the 3CXPhone app launches, then it will automatically revert to the Primary Sound Device.

    If the Audio Device you are referring to is a USB Headset, is it plugged before the PC is turned on?
