3cx Softphones can't able configure in Samsung S7 & S8

    Hi,
    I cannot able to configure the 3cx softphones in samsung s7 & s8.
    In other android phones it is working.
    Pls advise.

    Need more info, what do you mean

    Can not import the config file ?

    Have you tried scanning the QBR code

    Yes. Tried both method (tried to open configuration file and QR code also. no response).
    Not working.

    What does "not working" mean?
    Can you give some more details?



    1) Config File:
    -Download the config file to your Android's download folder.
    -Download Total Commander on your Android from the app store.
    -Open Total Commander
    -Browse the "Downloads" directory
    -Find the 3cxconfig file
    -Click it
    -Select *Open With
    -Select *Open With 3CX


    2) QR:
    -Go to Management Console > Extensions
    -Create an extension. Make sure you put a valid e-mail when you create it.
    -Once created, click on the extension in the extension list and press the "Send Welcome Email" button on the top.
    -Open your E-mail.
    -Go to your PBX's WebClient page: yourcompany.3cx.eu:5001/webclient
    -Type username and password found in e-mail
    -Login
    -Go top right
    -Click on your Avatar/User Image icon
    -Click on QR Scan
    -Scan it with your 3CX Android App's QR scan feature under the "More" tab.


    What doesn't work about the above?

    Using the QR code you moved the mobile phone closer to the screen? I had the same issue I had to move the mobile phone forward enough until it registers.

    We recently deployed to an organization with 26 Samsung S8+ as the corporate cellular devices, and were able to provision the smartphone client easily by opening the "Welcome Email" attachment on the devices once the softphone was installed from the Google Play Store.
