3CX - unable to use automatic menu systems

    Hey Guys

    I have a weird issue with my 3CX phone server.
    When I call a company (e.g. bank) that has an automated menu system (e.g. select 1 for sales, 2 for billing), I can't make the selection, it doesn't register, so I can't proceed.

    Have I missed a setting in my 3CX server or my Yearlink T26P/T28P phones?

    My system is 3CX v11.0.28976.849 SP4 and I have VOIP lines only.

    I'm not sure what could be causing this.

    I find it works 9 out of 10 times then I find a random system that doesn't work...

    Depends only on your provider and how DTMF tones are handled. For reliable transmiton you must use everywhere RFC2833 (lines, PBX, phones).

    thanks for the links guys, had my DTMF set to INBAND, changing to RFC2833 did the trick :)
