Solved 3CX V.15 - Custom Prompts Not Working

    Hi

    We have just upgraded to the version 15 of the 3cx server manager. When a call comes in fro our Main IVR the call is transferred to the relevant call you. We are trying to get rid of the "Please hold while I transfer your call message". So do this we are trying to change the PLS_HOLD prompt .wav file to a file with silence. We seem to be unable to change the original .wav file with our one.

    We have attempted these steps.

    1. Try to upload the new file using the browse function the system prompts screen.
    2. Tried to record a silent file from a phone. After we had recorded the file, we played it on our phone, but the prompt had not changed, but when we navigated to the directory where prompts are kept,
      C:\ProgramData\3CX\Instance1\Data\Ivr\Prompts\Sets\95a5fb06-200c-4220-8723-b204f8fb650c, the file had been replaced with silence. It was just not playing correctly on the phone
    3. Navigated to the directly where the prompt files are and replaced the file. It still played the original message, even though that file was no longer in the directory.
    None of these methods have worked. If anyone can advise us of a fix, it would be appreciated.

    Hello there !

    Did you try to restart the Services ?
    Go to Dashboard > Services > Selet 3CX PhoneSystem 01 IVR Server and press restart
    And then try again !

    Thanks that worked, It seems a bit silly to have to restart the service every time you make a change, you did not have to do that in the previous version.
