3CX v14 don't give line free after physically disconnect callee

    Situation:
    --------------
    1 phone with extension 101 in auto answer mode (auto answer because people there are disabled and can not operate the phone)
    1 caller, 102. Physical hone, 3cx app, ...

    Make a call from 102 to 101. 101 auto answer the phone and we can talk.

    But when 102 lose the connections (as test disconnect the utp plug) 3CX keeps the line UP to the extension 101.
    This "connection" will never hung-up until 101 hung-up the connection of someone use disconnect in de 3CX console.

    Same happens when you use a 3CX app on a mobile en you lose your wifi connection and your phone goes to 4G.

    Customers problem is that the user on 101, can not hung-up the phone en nobody has access to 3CX.

    Question:
    Has 3CX a time out to hung-up that disconnected session?
    Or has 3CX a other solution to see that there is a problem with that conversation between two extentsions and hung-up the line.

    3CX would normally recognize a disconnect from either end. You seem to be describing a situation where one end looses it's connection and that other end simply never hangs up because it us unable to, so 3CX never receives a "BYE" message from either end. Not really a "normal" occurrence. In this case 3CX may continue to believe that a conversation continues between both sets. One thing that may change this, is if you were to use the "PBX delivers audio" option on the set that is unable to cause a disconnect. See if that makes a difference. I'm not certain if there is a default "time-out" period, other than the normally 30 minute re-registration time of the devices.

    After some testing it looks like the don't hung-up problem is happening when the caller has somewhere a 3CXPhone app active.
    If we do the same with two phone without a other app or phone active 3CX hungup the line :).

    Soon we will test what happens when the caller make a call (on wifi) with a iphone & 3CXPhone app and the phone lose the wifi connection and connects to 4G
