3CX V14 EOL Softphone Question

    Will the V14 softphones stop working as of 1/1/2018? I know the blog post mentions that they will be retired but it doesn't clarify if softphones already in place will cease to function. The reason I ask is I have a large hot desking call center customer who has one or two V14 softphones and was concerned about them shutting off before their mid January outage window for the upgrade to v15.5.

    Most probably push will stop working, so this means you won't be able to receive calls. Still you should be able to make calls. If not able or not willing for some reason to upgrade to v.15.5, you may consider using another client like CSIPsimple for Android or native SIP client, supported into most Android distributions.
