3cx voice quality issues

    I have a grandstream gxp 2000 phone. I've configured 2 accounts for it.

    Account 1 directly accesses a sipphone account and works well with excellent voice quality.

    Account 2 uses the 3cx system and the voice quality is so poor as to not be useable. the ringtone of the called phone and the voice is very chopped up.

    all the infrastructure is using one internet service provder - comcast.

    the 3cs system uses the same VOIP provider (SipPhone) and the same account that the grandstream account 1 uses.

    Any thoughts as to why the voice quality is so poor when using the 3cx system but is just fine when bypassing the 3cs system?

    3CX version?
    OS?
    CPU type and speed?
    RAM on board?

    Have you tried a softphone on your server end, to test cpu, this would depend on memory, and how many programs you are running on the server. If its clear on that link, try and narrow down the codecs used.

    Have you tried changing the Codec priorities, under manage VOIP lines?

    On the hardware phone, that is doing the work and not the computers CPU, so that may be the reason it works ok there.

    If you could post the details, CPU, Memory, Os, Codecs, Logs I will try and suggest more.

    Also describe what you mean by poor quality:

    Jittery?
    Static?
    Delay?
    Choppy?
    Do you loose pieces of the conversation?
    etc.
