I am having a very strange issue. I am using the 3cx app on my windows machine with a headset to call/receive calls from another user in a remote office on their Cisco IP deskphone. There is a VPN link between office's and the cisco phones are running off the 3cx as well, so it is just dialing the extension number.

The issue i am getting is every time i place a or receive a call using the headset/3cx windows app to the remote office it will connect and sound fine for around 30 seconds then it will disconnect and some of the Cisco phones in the remote office will unregister/drop off (note not all of the phones unregistered). Also the phones at the main office stay connected and registered at all times.

Here is the system log whilst it happens. There is a call from 654 to 504 this is the cisco phone in remote office calling me on my softphone. Then once the call has dropped the other user places another call to me (504) using an external phone on a different system)

You've X'd out all of the private IP addresses, which is unfortunate, as showing them is not a security issue, but, could help with narrowing down what is going on.

Does this issue only happen when calling from your 3CX phone? Does any other install of the 3Cx phone calling the same remote extension, work fine?
Has this problem happened (with any other sets) before you installed 3Cx phone on your computer?

Off hand, I would suspect an IP or port conflict, but, there could be a setting in one of the the routers causing them to not "play well" with SIP.

I have actually narrowed this down to the switches in the remote office. It would appear that when the call is made the trunk between the two switches fails cutting off all the phones connected to the 2nd switch.

I need to do some more test's but will update once i can get some more info from the switches.

    Hi Joshjeffries,

I am having the same issue with SNOM300 desktop phones: calls are suddenly interrupted and phones reregister (reboot) randomly.

What information did you found when testing the switches?

    Thank you!
