3CX Windows Client - Line 2 Caller ID not displaying

    Does anyone know of a way to get the caller id to work when you are on a call and a new call comes in on another line? Both the Yealink phone and Web Client show the caller id of the second call, but the windows client does not.

    Hello @JPeterman

    I am afraid this is how the windows client is designed and the only way to get this to show the seconds caller ID is to have the windows client closed to the notification are. It will show a pop up window with the second caller ID. Alternatively you will need to use the web client or post this as a feature request to our ideas section of the forum so it can be upvoted by other users.

    Thank you for your reply. I am curious why this would be by design as it is such a basic concept?. I have found that this works in the 3CX softphone, so I think we will deploy that to users that wish to see their caller id.
