3CX with Sonetel

    Hi Friends,

    I have availed the SIP trunk from Sonetel but not able to configure it so far with 3CX phone system.
    If someone has experience with Sonetel SIP trunk then kindly help me.

    below information I got from them
    Account ID: "7 digit number"
    User name: yogeshmalhotra@gmail.com
    Your password: **********
    Your extension: 101 (internal phone number)
    Your INUM: +883510008527306 (free global phone number)

    I tried that too. But, it did not work with the settings that they provide. I got a workaround from their support. It seems 3cx doesn't work properly if we give a different proxy address in VOIP provider. So, an easy way is to add a dummy profile on your sonetel account. Just sign in to sonetel from their client, add a private profile like <someusername>@sonetel.net.
    Thats it, you can now go to the 3cx trunk page and add the trunk with a Generic SIP provider.

    Give the provider hostname/IP as sonetel.net. Also, outboundproxy hosname/IP as sonetel.net

    In the authentication screen, provide the username as <someusername> and password as your sonetel account password.

    It worked for me. Hunt it down and let me know...
