3cxassistantserver keeps stopping

    I am having an issue with the service 3cxassistantserver.
    Recently has been stopping almost daily, the only change was a configuration in the 3cx skype gateway on that machine.

    in the event log is the following:
    Source: .NET runtime 2.0 Error
    Event ID: 5000
    Description:
    EventYype clr20r3, P1 3cxassistantserver.exe, P2 8.0.0.9396, P3 4ac34ce8, P4 mscorlib, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 4a7cd8f7, P7 343f, P8 21c, P9 system.io.ioexeption, P10 NIL.

    The service can be restarted.
    When the service stops the 3cx assistant on the end users computers are unable to connect. this does not affect the rest of the system.

    I have today stopped the Skype gateway, to see if this is the cause of the issues,
    Any further advice will be greatly appreciated.

    Stopping the Skype gateway has made no difference,

    I have found the following that would describe the issue i am having,

    I have followed resolution method 2, and made the change as per the KB article (to ignore the exeption).
    but am confused as to why this is only recently occuring.

    Has anybody else seen this? is there some other cause, should i reinstall the 3CX server?

    I have the same error with 3cxcallhistoryservice.exe.
    Anybody resolved?

    Has anybody resolve this issue?

    I also encounter this error.

    For Yealink
    Download this Patch http://www.3cx.com/downloads/misc/urlpatch/Assistanturl.zip
    and do the following steps,

    1.Close and Exit Call Assistant.
    2.Open C:\Program Files\3CX Assistant\
    3.Copy and Replace tcx.assistant.client.exe.
    4.Restart Call Assistant

    Do not forget update phone with last firmware.
