    hi,

I have downloaded trial version of 3cx on Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 standard, with default values.

    I have created three extensions, 1000, 1001, 1002

I have downloaded 3CXPhone 3 from Google PlayStrore on following devices

Motorola Xoom2 tablet, Android 4 ICS
Samsung Galaxy S DUO, Android 4 ICS
Samsung Galaxy S3, Android 4 JellyBean
Samsung Galaxy Note2, Android 4 ICS

    I have just enter following settings;
    User: 1001
    ID: 1001
    Password: 654987321
    Local PBX IP: 10.7.105.24

Unfortunately, we can not talk when I call to other extensions.

I have tried 3CXPhone 2.0.5 with same settings, I can talk.

is there any bug with 3CXPhone 3 ????

    thanks

    Mustafa

Are all of the devices making use of Wifi, and being used on the same network as the 3CX PBX? Have you tested leaving a message for any of the extensions? Does the 3CX (PBX) log show any sign of issues?

It's possible that version 3 has not been tested on all of the handsets out there, although the S3 is pretty popular, and common.

    Dear Leejor,

    thanks for your interests.

Yes, I am using Wi-Fi connection to access 3CX PBX

please, take a look at my note:

"I have tried 3CXPhone 2.0.5 with same settings, I can talk."

Everything about settings and environment is the same.

    Simply:
I install 3CXPhone 2.0.5 on my Android devices: I can talk
I uninstall 3CXPhone 2.0.5 and install 3CXPhone 3 on my Android devices: I can NOT talk

is there anyone can tell me what is going on that?

I see that 3.0.50 is now available, have you tried that one?

I don't have an answer as to why it doesn't work. Only the people at 3CX, that wrote the application, can answer that. All I can suggest are things that you can try, with the assumption that it is something other than just your particular phone, causing the problem. But in the end it might just be one of three things...

It won't work properly with the handsets you are trying to use it on. This could be due to modifications made by your provider.

There is some sort of conflict with another running application.

Your settings or network are causing a problem.

Given that the other version works, you can probably rule out the last one.

I have found certain things that don't work with my particular Samsung handset, fortunately, audio, when placing a "normal" call is not an issue. I do find, however, that I get no audio if I press the email icon, It dials, but remains silent. At this point I'm going to have to live with it.

So, you can live with it by re-installing the older version, hope for a more definitive answer from someone at 3CX, or just keep at it.

There is a separate (new) forum, to deal with the new (Ver. 3) release. I see that Kevin has responded to other with some issues they are having with it.
