    Hi 3CX, and folks,

we just migrated to V12 while previously using V11, and it seems that we can not find a way to allow users of 3CXPhone to set their voicemail email options ?

They were used to be able to select the way the voicemail is handled, and we can not find this anymore ?

Anyone knows how users are supposed to be able to set their own settings ? we have a lot of complains about this.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

The issue appear on 3CX standard and 3CX Pro ( we have 2 deployments out there).

    Hi There,

Users can configure their call forwarding rules in the 3CX Phone client, via the Settings > Call Forwarding.

If they receive a voicemail, the Voicemails icon (envelope) will turn blue.
They can listen to the voicemail from their 3CX Phone client.

For email, this will need to be configured in the 3CX Management console. You can give access to a user to configure his/her extension settings.

    The voicemail options are:

    No email notification
Send Email notification only. The user is notified a voicemail is available
Send vmail as attachment. The user is notified via email of a voicemail and also has the attachment available to listen to.
Send as attachment and delete from mbox. The user gets a mail notification with the voicemail attached and the voicemail get deleted from the PBX.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi there,

You can also call special menu 999 and identify with your PIN, then you have an options menu 9, which allows you to change PIN and greeting for example.
