We have a peculiar problem with the ringtone when in 3CXPhone mode.
Audio settings are set for the headset's USB audio interface to act as mic and speaker for calls (naturally) and the Realtek onboard is set to handle the ringtone.
After login of the machine, the opening sound for Windows sounds through the speaker connected to the Realtek onboard interface, the intranet is loaded in a browser and a few seconds after that, 3CXPhone starts. At that point, when they receive a call, the ringtone does not sound. Once they close the application through Settings-> Close Application (or right-click on the systray icon and close it that way) and restart 3CXPhone, the ringtone does sound!
Audio settings are good, nothing muted or anything, Windows points the startup sound towards the onboard AI and 3CXPhone sends the call's audio to the USB AI. All that is left is the ringtone.
We are running 3CXphone 14 and Computers are on Windows 7 with onboard Realtek audio interface and a headset with USB audio interface.
Any ideas or suggestions that might help me solve this?
