Currently the number that is registered as a VoIP-Provider in 3CX can't receive any phonecalls from outside numbers, but it can make phonecalls to both in- and outside numbers, but when I call an outside number I will receive a call from a unknown caller. This number is currently also in use by other SIP-Phones which aren't connected to the 3CX PBX, this shouldn't really be a problem. The SIP-Phones that are directly connected to the VoIP-Provider and not to the 3CX PBX can receive and make calls and work as intended. Now I went to check with Wireshark about what might go wrong when making a call to an outside number and I'm getting the following message:

    Source: 91.xxx.xxx.x - Destination: 192.xxx.xxx.xx - Protocol: SIP - Info: Status: 401 Unauthorized

How is this possible if I can make a outside phonecall and actual talk? I've double-checked all the accountsettings and are all correctly filled in. I'm having the feeling I'm just forgetting something but can't figure it out. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

The firewall checker is indicating that you do not have port 5060 set up properly, Calling out will work simply because you are opening a door from the inside to out and whilst you are on a call it remains open in the routing, a call coming in a second later will probably connect.

Make sure you have done all the port forwarding properly on your router if the firewall checker is still not happy contact customer support for your router.
