401 Unauthorized with sipgate voip provider

    Hi All

    I'm new to 3CX and SIP

    Apologies if this question has been posted before but I can't seem to find a solution for this.

    I'm using Sipgate as the VOIP providor, and I'm unable to connect, this is the error I get from the server activity section in the 3cx Management Console
    20:24:18.718 [CM504005]: Registration failed for: 10000@Sipgate; Cause: 401 Unauthorized; from IP:217.10.79.23:5060

    I'm assuming the IP Adress is the server's as it isn't mine.

    I've sucessfuly managed to call a softphone on my laptop which is pointing to my external IP Address (where the server is based), so I'm assuming connectivity is ok.

    Any help would be much appreciated

    Double check your password and user name.

    Checked that, still no change
