After installing Build 806 there is a 3.5 second delay between the cessation of MOH and the audio of the call being established.

It has been noted that the connection is immediate with VOIP lines but not so with PSTN gateways (3102). The connection IS immediate when the call is initially answered by a call group and not when answered by the DR.

No settings with the 3102's change this delay. Phones are SNOMS but happens with others.

Has anybody else experienced this very frustrating problem and was'nt build 806 supposed to fix it?

Build 806 fixes this.

Are you using the VoIP client or a hardphone? If It's the VoIP client make sure it's build 727.

If not, you should submit a support ticket so that we may analyse.

To get technical support on this one, you can contact our technical support (This requires commercial edition with support package). If you have a commercial edition, but no support package, you can purchase one here:

The reason why this problem does not occur with the Voip lines is that they are not going to the SPA3102, so have a look at the PSTN anser delay, what is the value there.

The default delay on the 3102 is about 16 seconds, but the FAQ specifies this should be set to 0.

Thanks for the responses guys but please re-read my initial question.

It states:

No 3102 parameters change the situation.
(Changing the delays to zero can also stop CID's comming through, be carefull of that.)

Please also note that the connection delays are ZERO when the DR is disabled and the
line is connected to the call group, very same call group and the very same 3102 as when using the DR.

In addition the delay is evident going from DR to IVM. This is a dedicated machine with virtual memory
disabled. The speach flow is smooth.

The key difference between the VOIP's and the 3102's is that the VOIP lines are bound to the server.
I will experiment with this over the next few days but readers of the 3CX forums must now be seeing a pattern
forming between V6 and slow responses and high usage of resounces.

So who can say they are getting instant transfer responses from the DR to IVM or call groups called from the DR
and hard phone connections.
