Active Directory and phonebook

    we have successfully synced our contacts from AD with 3CX Phonebook (LDAP). This method only loads a certain contact when a call is made and stores it in the local phonebook on the phone.

    Is there a way to search the whole AD on the phone without loading it locally by making calls? We don't have an Exchange server and ODBC works the same way if I understand correctly.

    So - our goal is to have an up to date phonebook that can be searched through from our phones. Is there a way to do this?

    We have v15 and our phones are for the most part Aastra 6731i
