Looked to putting SBC's for ourselves and clients to alleviate firewall issues w/STUN. This breaks our makecall feature from CRM software to 3cx client hosted in a remote RDP session. We cannot use true CTI w/locally installed 3cx client, as the CRM software is not onsite and cannot be. That forces us and our clients to stay in STUN provisioning and deal with random firewall/router issues and rebooting. With so much going cloud based/hosted, hosted remote desktops etc, CRM software is not likely to be on the same network as the physical phones for most companies going forward. Need to be able to use makecall to phones behind SBC and not on the same network as 3cx client.
