It would be better if 3cx add more supported device such as ONT with big brand like Huawei, Fiberhome, ZTE, etc.

Right now the extension could register using triple play device FTTH cause there are no dial code for transfer, call forward, etc,
3cx should add the dial code for all the general feature so the phone from ftth device could use all of it feature

    Regards
    Edi

I wonder what will 3CX receive in this case?
The DPN-5402 features 2 FXS voice ports, enabling service providers to deliver voice services to customers.
To transfer a call, please follow the steps below:
    1. Press
FLASH button to put the current call on hold.
    2. Dial the destination number.
Note: To quit the transfer, press the
FLASH button again to return to the original call before hearing the ringback tone.
    3. Hang up when hearing the ringback tone or wait for the newly called party to answer and then hang up. Now the call is successfully transferred.

Can't understand why you'd want to use a business PBX to deliver a carrier solution.

Perhaps some people just want to use existing solution without buying of new ATA, but never mind us.
There are also more serious new partners like @James Bruce which are faced with many difficulties of analog phones.

This could be opportunity for 3CX to cover any solution on phone wire, coax and fiber!

For start 3CX can test 8 popular DSL modems with mini IP DSLAM.
Next step would be similar with coax:
Full-fledged CMTS are designed to support thousands of subscribers. Averaging around $30,000, these units are suitable for large-scale deployments where economies of scale give networks a larger ROI. These units are inefficient for smaller scale deployments ranging between 250-500 subscribers. Versa Technology’s Integrated CMTS is a smaller alternative that brings DOCSIS 3.0 connectivity to small communities and MDUs at a cost-effective price.

    Even better alternative CORAL Pico
    • As light as a "chromebook", it is perfect for test laboratories, for exhibitions, for training and for technical rooms.
Of course in this case they will focus on SIP based eMTAs in cable networks.

Third case will be most challenging in finding suitable mini OLT.

I'm glad that at least somebody understands. That is true in preferred case of IP phones for hard to reach locations. But sometimes DSL modem/router will have internal VoIP port for connecting analog phones. 3CX should be fully compatible with those internal clients.

Faster Master Bridge for 31 G.hn ATA Voice endpoints
    • The low initial cost can expand the service to small scale building with higher speed than CMTS.
    • Telephone FXS Port with SIP Protocol Support
    • G.hn is useful for small/home offices, MDUs, hotels etc.
Standard Master Bridge for 253 ATA Voice endpoints

Are you saying it isn't? While I realise there's a thousand different ways to set up SIP - isn't that what you earn your money for as the installer? We've got a number of installs where we're using hardware that 3CX doesn't support - but it's only SIP... set up a template if you want to provision it, or just put the connection info into the end point? It works fine with a little twiddling of parameters.

I mean if we're talking analogue phones in hotel rooms - the 3CX generated Patton template is not fit for that purpose. Ours is over four times the size to configure everything that's needed to provide expected user experience.
