after hours calls to external or extension

    Issue setting up after hours calls to forward to external number or extension.

    We have a small 3cx v15 setup with 2 Patton (SN4114/JO/EUI) 4-port FXO gateways connected to 6 pstn lines. Things have been working okay for some time with all calls directed to our main IVR. The owner needs after hours calls either forwarded to a cell phone or extension with softphone app to be answered by a human after hours.

    I setup the correct office hours in settings and configured our SIP Trunks "Destination for calls outside office hours" to forward to outside number but either never rings or takes many rings or rings and hangs up. In the Call Log I will see 3 or 4 outgoing calls generated to the number configured. I didn't see any entries in the activity log for these calls.

    When we tried to configure the "Destination for calls outside office hours" destination as an extension or ring group to ring 3cx app it rings but hangs up, rings again hangs up, only if you answer within the first few seconds does the call connect. In the Call Log I see again 3 or 4 calls to the group or extension. Here are the corresponding Activity Log entries:
