Some of our customers run more than one company and have linked their 3CX pbx to more than one trunk. With hardware phones I can configure additional identities to route more than one number to a phone. The 3CX client indeed allows more than one account. But only one can be active at the same time. The only possibility is configuring call forwarding. Using this workaround leads to loosing the information of the really called number (i.e. company). Allowing more than one account being active in 3CX desktop client and signalling which one is addressed by an incoming call will solve this problem.
