    Some of our customers run more than one company and have linked their 3CX pbx to more than one trunk. With hardware phones I can configure additional identities to route more than one number to a phone. The 3CX client indeed allows more than one account. But only one can be active at the same time. The only possibility is configuring call forwarding. Using this workaround leads to loosing the information of the really called number (i.e. company). Allowing more than one account being active in 3CX desktop client and signalling which one is addressed by an incoming call will solve this problem.

    If you really need this feature now, you can install Sandboxie and create as many sandboxes as you need. You can then start the 3CX Client in each sandbox and run as many instances as you like. You can change the settings of each application (eg. different theme, accounts etc) and they will always stay separate.

    This is exactly what we need too as we're running two 3CX systems in two offices.
