In the old Nortel Meridian voicemail system, we could set up voicemail boxes to "announce only". This would inform the caller of the message we record but not allow them to leave a message on the system. This is extremely great for "Weather hotlines" used to inform team members of delays and closing. With the current "3CX" system allowing recordings, we have to monitor the voicemail account just in case someone leaves an "I can't make it in" message... it could be a legal matter if they say they left a message and did not show up for work. I know the option is there with the auto-attendant but it is not as easy to re-record a message remotely like it is in the VM system. Any chance this could be added in a future release?
