Trying to have CFD create/append a text file for when the auto-dialer makes a call and the recepient presses "1" if they choose, enters data, and presses # to write the data to a text file and terminate the call.

    I've tried UserInput > Valid Input > ReadWriteFile >
    File Component:
    "C:\\Text\\textfiletowrite.txt"
    Append
    Write > Content to Write > UserInput1 > Result

But the only thing ever written to the file is "ValidDigits"

So I tried Write > Content to Write > UserInputResult > ValidDigits

Once again the only thing written is "ValidDigits"

Next I tried creating a variable "TextFile" with the Exression > UserInputResult.ValidDigits > The user enters data UserInput2 > upon valid input > ReadWriteFile

    File Component:
    "C:\\Text\\textfiletowrite.txt"
    Append
Write > Content to Write > the variable "project$.TextFile"

Once again all that is written is "ValidDigits"

Not quite sure what I'm missing.

Also, what I know about SQL Query and C# wouldn't fill a thimble.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

You need to use the Buffer property of your UserInput component. For example:
    userInput1.Buffer

    Kind regards

    Hey that worked!
I moved the Variable from UserInput1 to UserInput2 > Valid Input, changed the Expression to UserINput2.Buffer and now my text file populates with the correct data.

    Thanks Ernesto :)
