Heeeello,

I have the (latest) config below and ran into the following problem:
When I disable "General Settings>Global Options>Append Group and DID names" (standard) incoming caller IDs are properly displayed on any SNOM 320 phone (latest firmware). When I enable this option and either append or prepend group names, the whole path of groups/DID names are displayed seperated by ":" - but the actual caller ID number is missing!
This is NOT a problem with the limited display of the snoms, because the same entries can be found in the SNOM calling list!

Example:
01729999999 (external) calls 3CX phone system at 5488 300 (300 is one of our DIDs)

With option "append" unchecked the display reads:
001729999999
Fine! (We made our patton append the leading zeros)

With option "append" checked the display reads:
300:
If the call came through different groups it reads:
GROUP1:GROUP2:
->The external numer is missing!

Any idea?

Best, Jan

Hi,

Does this only happen in the Snom?

Try installing the VOIP Phone, and see if it passes it to it properly, also what version of PBX are you using.
