check the manual or see the following manual at

and see section 6.2.1.2 SIP Proxy & Registration Settings on page number 82 it will give you details for registering your MP-408 to register with 3CX server. enable the register setting and insert the asked information. Add a PSTN gateway in 3CX server and asign the MP-408 username and password and or vice versa and get them connected to each other.

I hope this informaiton will help you out to configure both 3CX system and even the MP-408 for yourself. [/img]

    HI

I managed to get my AudioCodes MP-408 to register with 3CX. I can make outgoing calls but I am unable to receive any incoming calls.

I get the following message everytime I try to call the number 67799440.

[CM010001] Line configuration does not allow identification of the source of this call. Check Advanced Options for Gateways and Providers and match a field to a correct value from the following: Contact IP: '192.168.1.251'; From: '31168928'; To: '67799440'; Rline: '67799440'; Contact: '31168928'

    Can anyone help ?

    Thanks!

Go into 3cx web administration and on gateway configuration go to "other options" select "use ip in contacts" and below input '192.168.1.251'
    and then ok.
    It should work after that..

    Cheers

I did that and I still can receive a call but now I get the following message.

[CM101000] Registration request from sip:31168928@192.168.1.250 failed. Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings.

Actually the full message I get is the following after I changed the setting you suggested.

[CM101000] Registration request from sip:31168928@192.168.1.250 failed. Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings

    [CM001005] Message SipReq: INVITE 67799440@192.168.1.250:5060 tid=-f1d8-3b0b5f0-607c3b4d cseq=INVITE contact=31168928@192.168.1.251:5060 / 2 from(wire) failed authentication!

[CM001003] Authentication ID for Ln:10002@AudioCodes-MP408 doesn't match provided: vs 10002

[CM210001] Ambiguous configuration.4 source lines correspond to incoming call.INVITE Parameters: Contact IP: '192.168.1.251'; From: '31168928'; To: '67799440'; Rline: '67799440'; Contact: '31168928'. Line:CfgExtLine:10002 used as fallback!

I don't think its a user/pass issue at the number 31168928 is my land line number I am dialing from. I can't possible be creating all the numbers that will be calling into me.

    I am using v3.1.

In the 3CX management console under Manage Gateways/Other Options do you have the following...

Caller-ID is in 'user' part of (one of following):
    x 'From' field
    'To' field
    'Request-Line-URI' field
    'Contact' field
    'RemotePartyID;party=calling' field

Called-Number (for inbound calls) is in:
    'From' field
    x 'To.user' field
    'Request-Line-URI.user' field
    'Contact' field
    'RemotePartyID;party=called' field

With the x's representing what is ticked in the options offered.

Yes I made sure that I have 2 options mentioned selected. I also added a DID entry for my number - 67799440. But I still can't receive any calls into 3CX.

Below is the following log from the settings:

I have the same problem with AudioCodes 402. Can make outside calls but can not receive the calls form outside. Here is my log

I have given correct passwords and user ids. No mistake with this. I guess there are some other parameters I have configured in 3cx. I have to say that I did:
Caller-ID is in 'user' part of (one of following):
    'From' field
Called-Number (for inbound calls) is in:
    'To.user' field

    waiting for your replys,

    regards,

For the benefit for all you AudioCodes MP-4xx users, Alicic has already managed to get the incoming calls working.

But for those of you who has the same issue with a MP-408 or other type of VoIP gateways even after your many attempts to retype the passwords in both your VoIP gateway and 3CX, try removing the SIP user password entirely from AudioCodes and do the same for 3CX. That resolved my problem.

Thanks guys, setting the passwords for lines to blank solved my problem of 3CX refusing authentication from AudioCodes MP-118.
