Authentication failed for SipReq

    Hello,
    I have a system setup using 3CX Phone System Version 9 with SP5. I am using an evaluation license.
    The system is composed of CyberData intercoms and 3CX softphones. I don't have any problems in 'makecall' from softphone to the intercom. However, when I try to use the HTTP API for 'makecall' from intercom to the softphone I get the following:

    Where 1001 is the extension for the intercom and 1000 is the extension for softphone.

    Could someone please advise why there is authentication failure message? I have double checked the ID and password and they match with the extension settings. Perhaps this is because it is the evaluation version of 3CX Phone System and it is missing the intercom functionality?

    I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

    MakeCall uses the PIN of the extension and not the Auth ID.
    Try using that and try again :)

    Do you mean the PIN number used by 3CX Assistant? For simplicity, I have designated 1001 as the extension number, ID, password and the PIN number used by 3CX Assistant. I used the following 'Makecall' command:
    http://localhost:5484/PbxAPI.aspx?func=make_call&from=1001&to=1000&pin=1001

    I have tried reinstalling 3CX Phone System software but it did not help. Please advise.
