Solved Auto provision changes admin pwd on Yealink phones

    Testing a Yealink T46S and two Yealink T21P E2 phones prior to deployment. Testing against my 3CX NFR installation.

    After provisioning through the management console (RPS) the process changes the admin password.

    I did find an answer that worked for the T46S at https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/auto-provision-changes-admin-pwd-on-yealink-t20.39924/ but this did not work for the T21P E2 phones. I searched the 3CX forum for other posts regarding this issue and found no help there.

    This is not addressed in the training.

    Issue resolved. Needed to set the desired PW from the Phones --> Selected Extension --> Edit --> Provisioning tab.
