Auto switching to DND

    We’re having an issue where 3cx auto switching to DND in/out of business hours is two hours behind our global office times. The voice mail time stamp and auto switching to after-hours digital receptionist time is correct but the automatic “putting extension to DND” is two hours off. We’ve tried to configure specific times per extension but same results as using global office hours – two hours off. Suggestions?

    Hello @Mike C

    Are you using IP Phones or 3cx Clients? If you are using IP Phones, is the time on the phones correct?
    In the "Phone Provisioning" tab in extension settings, check the timezone if its correctly set up as it might be different from your PBX Global Settings.

    Ip phones. Yes, the timezone was correct. Really strange as it only happens with the time of auto dnd which should match the in and out of office global times

    Hello @Michael Groom

    The first thing we need to know is the version of the PBX. You can see the exact build number on the dashboard next to the licence info. Then we need to know the operating system 3CX is installed on and if the server is local or cloud based. Is the time of the server correct? Do you also face issues only with DND not switching on time?

    I have fixed this. The server is local and had the correct time as did all the phones. I did notice that on the dashboard the system status graph was showing 1 hr off. Which is what the dnd was off. Restarting the entire system fixed it.
