    Hello!

We are using Snom D715 phones with standard templates.
For the front desks we are using Snom D725 phones with standard templates.
(Both with latest firmware provided by 3CX: 8.9.3.66)

Before updating to V15.5, BLF LED pattern at our D715 was:

    • Extension is available: LED is off
    • Extension is ringing: LED is blinking
    • Extension is busy: LED is on

Now, since updating to SP1 (both 3CX and the phones’ firmware), BLF LED pattern at our D715 is:

    • Extension is available: LED is on
    • Extension is ringing: LED is blinking fast
    • Extension is busy: LED is blinking slow
    Is that normal behaviour?

If so, this is very impractical: it is counter intuitive as LED patterns for monitored extensions now works differently than LED patterns for the user’s own line keys.
Is there any option to revert to the old LED pattern?

    Thanks for help.

    Hello @denko2k

Please note that this is the normal behaviour of the phones. This was changes, as before the users could not tell that the phone was monitoring an extension as the default value was off. When an extension is monitored the key should indicate that.
These phones also do not have the ability to change colours so the only state they can be is Off / Green / Blinking.
So now if an extension is monitored the phone indicates that with the LED On. Then we can only use blinking to indicate if the extension is ringing or the extension is busy.

This was done so it is consistent with other Snom phones so people with different Snom models have a more cohesive experience.
