Many of our customers ask me if it's possible to have on ip phones the chance to see if the system is set in "office hours" or "off-office hours", and also to see the state of the extensions, if it's available or away or don not disturb. Through a message on the phone or a blf on or off
From 3cx support I am told that there is currently no option on any supported phone type.

There is a chance to implement these options?

    Thank's

    no other with this problem?
Our customers are lamenting that the previous switchboards had the option to check the status of the switchboard.
it would be enough to type a code, but if there was a way to design the blf would be perfect.
The code * 640 should give me this status instead resets the schedules set on programming.

We also lost some sales for to this detail but customers find it very useful

    Thank's

You could use the Call Control API to get the current state, and either expose it through a CFD or via a web page. But I don't know of a way to turn the light on for a BLF.

    No news for this option?
Is not there any possibility that it can be implemented in future updates?

+1 This should be something very easy to implement especially for the web consoles. A programmable BLF for toggling between Auto/In/Out would be great too.

I can't believe that "supported" IP phones don't show via BLF the availability of other extensions... just saying "use the web/windows client" isn't a solution

Clients are used to seeing presence from a handset and not happy to just use the app (or may not have a PC /app near every phone) Can this be considered - maybe an option in forwarding rules on what the BLF displays

Seeing the status of an extension on a BLF is really something important

If it were possible to show the emergency status in a BLF would be great.
    • Off for normal mode
    • Green for forced in office hours.
    • Red for forced out of office hours
    For example
