    Some of our clients have expressed the desire to prohibit an extension from stopping call recording. While you can set extensions to record every call and block an extension's right to delete the recording, an extension can still stop and start a call recording at anytime. If a business is required to record all calls for compliancy, there is currently no way to prohibit extensions from stopping the call recording. This should be an option.

    So adding a feature that allows one type of compliance (PCI requirement to not record cardholder data) has broken another...

    Hopefully 3CX can automate/enhance the PCI compliance portion (I think that is in the works) so they can do both.
