    Hi,

3cx softphone 3.1.6288.0 does not show plantronics 9xx headset in preferences.

It does appear in windows / control panel,
windows speech recognition works with it,
    Gotomeeting can use it.

Softphone, Preferences - it does not appear in the list of devices.

Using freeware version, everything patched up to date.

    Cheers
    Dean.

    Hi Dean

Dean, please do a right-click on the sound icon next to the clock in the taskbar, and open "Volume control" window. There, from menu open Option/Properties dialog. Expand the "Mixer device" combo and check if Plantronics device is listed there - 3CX Voip Phone recognize audio devices in the same way as system Volume Control does.

    Regards

    thanks Vali,

sadly -- it doesn't appear. I recognize this isn't a 3cx issue -- however, hoping that you know -- any idea how to make it appear?

    thx

    Hi, Dean

I'm not very skilled in such kind of things, I suppose the drivers you mentioned be not real drivers, but some Direct Show audio filters, which can be recognized and used by certain programs. As I said, is just a supposition. However, if true, we don't provide such support in our current implementation. I don't know in the future, but definitely for now and the near one - no.

    Regards

my bad -- playing around with sound settings in windows -- eventually recognizes headset.

once that happens, 3cx is happy with it.

    my goof.
