    If you edit the template files.

    I would only change this one the receptionists phone. And have them do a multicast page to notifiy people there is a parked called. We had two many people see the flashing light and press it thinking it was their phone ringing.

    #Configure Linekey1
    linekey.2.line = 1
    linekey.2.value = SP1
    linekey.2.pickup_value =
    linekey.2.type = 10
    linekey.2.xml_phonebook =
    linekey.2.label = Call Park

    I also created a dialplan.xml file. Because people cant type sp1 on the phone. I used non used extension numbers for picking up the pages (these numbers are only setup on the yealink phones, not in the phone system. So when a call is parked.

    you page out. "Steve, call on 101, Steve call on 101" then he only has to pick up the phone and dial 101 to pickup the parked call.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <DialRule>
    <Data Prefix="100" Replace="SP0" LineID=""/>
    <Data Prefix="101" Replace="SP1" LineID=""/>
    <Data Prefix="102" Replace="SP2" LineID=""/>
    <Data Prefix="103" Replace="SP3" LineID=""/>

    </DialRule>

    that way of handling this has a flaw.
    Receptionist parks someone on 101.
    Makes a page for John
    Steve picks it up. Oops its for John
    Receptionist sees 101/SP1 is available and parks a new call.
    Steve reparks the call by transferring to 101.
    Now those 2 callers are connected... if I recall.

    It is not without issues.

    jasit thanks for the reply. I see your point but lets assume the customer is OK parks on every phone, there is no way inside the 3 cx to change the default label of park buttons?
