Solved Call Pickup not working

    Hi,

    Im having an issue using the Call pickup feature *20*

    I would like to pickup a call from the same call group, however when i dial *20* the phone that was ringing stops and the call does not come through on the handset the Call pickup was initiated on. The incoming caller still hears a ringing tone but the call does not come through to any handset.

    Is there something i am doing wrong?

    Using latest version of 3CX v15.5.5 on a linux server.

    Please do supply me with more information. What kind of phones are you using and what firmware do they use?What is the provisioning method?

    Hi Ioannis,

    We use Yealink T42G Handsets running on firmware 29.81.0.25

    We have a custom Template setup and they are provisioned through a Local Linux SBC controller

    Current setup is:

    Cloud based PBX Installation > Local Linux SBC Controller > IP Phones

    I have also tested factory reset of phone and then re provisioning and it does the same thing.

    Hello,

    Please upgrade your phone's firmware to the latest supported one and see if the problem occurs.
    If you want to perform a manual update, you can find all the supported firmware here.

    Hi,

    Just letting you know that updating the Phone Template to latest version and then customising it and also upgrading the phone firmware has fixed the problem.
