Hi all,
I've just setup a 3cx PBX on Google cloud with their middle teir server (can't remember the name of it but not 600mb ram one)
Today I was setting up the auto receptionist recording and got the call to my softphone with us headset. The instructions and reply of my recording were jittery and words were being broken up.
Instead I recorded the audio on my PC and uploaded to 3cx server. To test I rung the main number and it was still jittery and dropping sounds.
The next test I took was to call another phone and the quality was poor with words being dropped and sound being overall muffled.
Where should I start looking to resolve this?
As the service is not hosted inside my site did I need to open any ports on my router? If so where do I point them to?
We're running a 100 down 50 up fibre connection so the connection should be plenty.
3cx is replacing an internal lg ipecs system that's started playing up.
Any advice would be fantastic and happy to provide more information.
