Call Queue, MOH playing whilst initial intro message is playing

    Gday All,

    Maybe i'm missing something but we have an initial intro message, which we've recorded and uploaded and when i go and listen to it on our incoming test queue, i can also hear the music on hold playing in the background, which makes it kind of jumbled. Is there a way to only have the intro message play and then the music on hold after that, and not stacked on top of each other?

    I see this is a feature, not a bug. Whilst i do understand the logic behind this (With yiannish's explanation) are we really that hard up for CPU time? Surely this could just be an option following on from yiannish's explanation of not wanting to be playing 1000 streams of MOH, in the case of a large call centre operation, but for those of us that are much smaller (IE 16 concurrent call licenses) and never nudging more then 1% CPU we could just make it an option to turn off or on?

    As I recall, it's been this way for a number of versions. You could submit a feature request on the Ideas forum.
