Call Recording

    I'm using v8 of 3CX with Snom 320 phones.

    Question 1
    Is there a “best practice” way to make the recordings of calls available to users?
    Should I just share the folders on the server to get that job done?
    Is there something built in to 3CX for that purpose?

    Question 2
    If I need to go the shared folder route, is it possible to configure how 3CX stores the files?
    Currently, it only stores recordings in the users extensions folder if the user initiated the call. If it was an incoming call, it gets stored in the providers extension folder. Is there a way to change this?

    hi,

    If you are using the latest version 8 you have the option to change where the recordings are saved.
    You may change this in: Settings > General > Global Options > Recording Path
